The King Arts Complex and Radio One join forces again for another hot summer season with the 15th Annual Heritage Concert Series presented by PNC beginning Thursday, July 11th -August 29th from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. at Mayme Moore Park, 867 Mount Vernon Avenue, Columbus, OH. This free summer event is a staple in the Central Ohio community attracting all ages, ethnicities and surrounding communities for an evening of great entertainment, food, and more! “We are proud to host another Heritage Concert Series. This is our 15th year and the series gets better every year. We look forward to friends and family joining us”, expressed KAC Executive Director, Demetries Neely.
This year’s Heritage Concert Series will feature: national recording artist and jazz composer Norman Connors to close the series on August 29th; Heritage Concert Series Marketplace, a selection of local and regional visual artists and vendors with works for sale; Food Court, featuring a diverse selection of Columbus’ finest food vendors;The Kidz Gallery, art produced by KAC summer camp participants such as jewelry, painted furniture, and fine art at great prices. Proceeds support summer camp programming.

The Heritage Concert Series line up includes: RSVP Show Band(July 11th), Dr. E & Sabrina Tutstone(July 18th), Cinnamon Suites(July 25th), Premium Blend(August 1st), Muy Caliente(August 8th), HAWC & F.E.W.(August 15th), Mark Lomax Quartet(August 22nd 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.) and Norman Connors(August, 29th 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.).
