Columbus, OH – The PBJ & Jazz summer series is pleased to return to the Topiary Park downtown for its seventh season of free outdoor concerts. PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park: Jazz for Kids and Families is a collaborative effort between the Jazz Arts Group, Friends of the Topiary Park, the Columbus Metropolitan Library, and the Columbus Museum of Art.

PBJ & Jazz concerts are one-hour interactive concerts designed to introduce jazz and American music to young children and their families. Featuring some of Columbus’ finest musicians, PBJ & Jazz concerts are hosted by retired music educator Rebecca Ogden—and are a great introduction to live music for the youngest audience member.

Artists for the 2015 season: High Street Stompers (June 13), Bobby Floyd Trio with Bobbi Townes (July 11), Liz Woolley Band (August 8), and Cedric Easton & Circle of Friends (September 12).

PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park concerts follow family storytime at 11:30 a.m. in the park, presented by the Columbus Metropolitan Library. The noon concert concludes with a hands-on art activity from 1 to 2 p.m., presented by the Columbus Museum of Art. All activities are free. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket. The Topiary Park is located at 480 E. Town Street in downtown Columbus. Free parking is available in the Motorists Insurance lot just north of the Topiary Park.
