2018 Westerville Jazz At The Amp Concert Series

A modern tradition in excellent outdoor summer jazz concerts gets underway again this weekend in Westerville. Presented by Westerville Parks and Recreation Department and Jazz 98.5 FM, WSAX-LP, the third annual Jazz At The Amp concert series kicks off at the Alum Creek Park North Amphitheater on Saturday, June 30th at 6:30pm with a program featuring jazz saxophonist Kim Waters and Columbus’ own Urban Jazz Coalition. Three additional concerts at “The Amp” present more great international smooth jazz talents and some of Columbus’ finest groups – guitarist Nick Colionne (July 7th at 6:30pm), saxophonist Eric Darius (July 28th at 6:30pm), and a star-studded finale extravaganza on August 4th from noon to 9pm with Paul Taylor, Brian Simpson, Jackiem Joyner, Four80East, NexLevel, fo/mo/deep, Greg Bandy and The Jazz Alliance and Copacetic. Westerville, OH – Westerville Parks and Recreation Department and Jazz 98.5 FM, WSAX radio station proudly presents the 2018 Jazz At The Amp concert series at the Alum Creek Park North Amphitheater, located at 221 West Main Street in Westerville.

The 2018 Jazz At The Amp kicks off on Saturday, June 30th at 6:30pm featuring jazz saxophonist, Kim Waters, along with Columbus’ own national recording group Urban Jazz Coalition.  This is the third year for Jazz At The Amp and this year, barbecue, other food choices, desserts and refreshments from local vendors will be available.

In addition to June 30th, the 2018 Jazz At The Amp concert series will present concerts on July 7th at 6:30pm featuring guitarist Nick Colionne, July 28th at 6:30pm featuring saxophonist Eric Darius at 6:30pm and August 4th from 12pm until 9pm, featuring a spectacular all day concert event with an all-star jazz lineup of performances by saxophonist Paul Taylor, pianist and composer Brian Simpson, saxophonist Jackiem Joyner, super group, Four80East, Homegrown jazz sensations and nationally celebrated recording groups, NexLevel, fo/mo/deep, Greg Bandy and The Jazz Alliance and Copacetic.
