Bop Du Fway performs this Friday at Dick’s Den starting around 10pm. Bop Du Fway, featuring “Daddy-O” on vibes and orations, is a spoof on the jazz poetry bands of the 50’s and 60’s – the “beat” generation. This group plays to standing-room only shows during its many performances at the Carnegie Hall of Jazz in Columbus, Dick’s Den. So get to Dick’s Den early this Friday.
The band’s disc, Dispatch from Outville, includes many of their favorite songs including Tomato Madness, Polka Cats, and the Ganges River Blues Tune, When Your Karma Hits My Dogma. You will laugh till you cry as you snap your fingers and join the hep cats listening to these groovy tunes.
