Anna and the Consequences Trio Live at Natalie's

Some live jazz, blues and cabaret style vocals will be in full force this Tuesday evening at Natalie’s with the Anna and the Consequences Trio. The trio features smoky songstress Anna Paolucci, Dan Sagraves lends his hipster edge
and slaphappy fingers to the musical mix on vocals and upright bass and add Rick Soriano’s varied musical textures and unique multitasking performance on drums and keyboards at the same time, and WOW. Sexy, sultry, swingin’ and fun!

You may hear music from anytime in the 20th century. Picture a New York cabaret in 1947. Full menu, big wooden bar. Fabulous dresses, smart suits and polished shoes, hats and gloves. People talking, laughing, dancing, eating, sipping, kissing… or listening. Maybe get up and move together on the dance floor. Come in closer and listen to the sound of the human voice, old wood instruments and strings… music as it was for hundreds of years. It’s a fresh sound for an idea so old.

Anna & the Consequences song list spans popular music from over 100 years including jazz, pop, and blues forms. Compositions from Tin Pan Alley, the Great American Songbook, Vintage Gritty Blues, and even modern songs from the last decade with a twist. Plus a few saucy originals. A new recording will be available in time to chase away the winter blues.
