Join Becky Ogden and a cozy crowd for BUNGALOW JAZZ, an occasional series of combo jazz performances in the intimacy and warmth of Becky’s unique East Columbus home. Tonight at 8pm, Becky welcomes vocalist and musician, Mary McClendon and her band.

Mary is a featured vocalist with the Columbus Jazz Orchestra and has also worked with the Columbus Symphony and Balled Met. She has held many leading and supportive roles with Gallery Players, Center Stage Theater, Nia Performing Arts and CATCO. She considers jazz and jazz standards some of her favorite music to perform and that has been reflected with her work with local musicians: Bobby Floyd, Don Tate Jr., Bobby Pierce, Geoff Tyus, Hank Marr, Mark Flugge, Tom Carroll, Jeanette Williams, and Michelle Horsefield to name a few.

Mary has received a number of awards and recognitions:

Awarded Living Legends 2009
Recognition from Alpha Phi Alpha

Certificates from Columbus City Council
Mayor’s Office
And the Ohio Senate
