Jazz fusion legends Return to Forever are at the LC Pavilion in downtown Columbus tonight. Return to Forever is a jazz fusion group founded by keyboardist Chick Corea. Performing along with Corea will be Stanley Clarke, Lenny White, Frank Gambale, and Jean-Luc Ponty. They are cited as one of the core groups of the jazz-fusion movement of the seventies alongside Weather Report and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Their sound has evolved from avant-garde to a more direct, rock-oriented approach. Throughout the years, the band has contained many different members, with bassist Stanley Clarke as the only constant alongside Corea.
