Press Release – The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) is pleased to welcome Linda N. Brown, Karen M. Fasheun, Gilbert J. Gradisar and Jim Negron as new members of its board of directors.
Linda N. Brown serves as Senior Vice President, Colleague Communications Director at Huntington National Bank and is responsible for leading internal communication initiatives at Huntington. Prior to this role, Ms. Brown served as Vice President, Internal Communications at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC). She is also the recipient of the YMCA of Greater New York, Harlem Branch Black Achievers in Industry Award.
Karen M. Fasheun currently holds the position of Midwest Region Manager for
Diversity, Inclusion and Development with Time Warner Cable and oversees the
development and management of comprehensive programs to improve business,
engage employees, and serve the greater community of Time Warner Cable. Ms.
Fasheun also has extensive experience with diversity initiatives and
multicultural enrollment in the university setting including roles with The
Ohio State University, Ohio Wesleyan University, and Ohio University.
Gilbert J. Gradisar returns to the JAG board of directors as Principal of
law firm Zaino & Humphrey, LLC. In addition to Mr. Gradisar’s 20+ years
experience practicing law, he has served as the founder and president of
PrevaHealth Wellness Diagnostic Center and as the co-founder and Director of
Development and Operations of Ohio Heart. Gradisar served on the JAG board
of directors from 1997 to 2006, including terms as President (2003-2005) and
Treasurer (2001-2003).
As Executive Vice President of Corna Kokosing Construction Company, Jim
Negron has overall responsibility for business development and operations
for a major division of the company. Mr. Negron has been with Corna Kokosing
for more than 19 years and has more than 28 years of experience in the
construction industry. He has worked on a variety of projects in the
healthcare, education, industrial, religious, and specialty markets,
including numerous arts and entertainment venues throughout central Ohio.
Officers elected for 2011-2012 are: Carol A. McGuire, President, CAM
Associates, LLC, elected as Board President; Vincent Lodico, Attorney,
Crabbe, Brown & James, elected as President-Elect; Linda J. Siefkas,
President, Siefkas Public Relations, elected Secretary; Anthony F.
Salvatore, Commercial Lending Manager, Fifth Third Bank, elected Treasurer;
and James L. Barnes, Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor, Merrill
Lynch, serving as Past President.
