Columbus Youth Jazz Programs Schedule & Information

The Columbus Jazz Arts Group offers a Youth Jazz Program with the goal of advancing and celebrating the art of jazz through performance and education. This is a great way to get children involved in music at an early age and to help them appreciate the great art form of jazz music. Youth jazz auditions are this weekend.

The Youth Jazz Program fulfills their mission by providing the opportunity for students in grades 7 – 12 to participate in one of three outstanding learning and performing ensembles. Each ensemble rehearses weekly and offers a variety of performances and other educational activities each season.

JAG’s Youth Jazz Program consists of the following:

* Columbus Youth Jazz Workshop (CYJW)
* Columbus Youth Jazz Studio Ensemble (CYJSE)
* Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra (CYJO)
