The annual Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary installment at Gahanna’s Creekside Park & Plaza this Friday, June 15th (5pm – midnight), Saturday, June 16th (11am – midnight), and Sunday, June 17th (11am – 7pm). Single day tickets ($7 – $10) and weekend passes are available – click here for more details. First held in 1999, the festival features a number of premier blues bands, local and regional jazz acts, and a selection of other local bands on four stages throughout the weekend. This year’s Jazz Stage headliners are the David Sanborn Electric Band (Friday), Urban Jazz Coalition featuring Lin Rountree (Saturday) and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra (Sunday). The festival is a great place to take in a variety of great live music and enjoy family friendly activities. Each year more than 35,000 people from throughout Central Ohio and other parts of the US attend the popular festival.
