If you haven’t stopped up to Easton for a Wednesday evening “Sounds on the Town” concert series, you’re missing a great outdoor venue to capture some great local jazz performances. For the past several years, Easton has been hosting a weekly music series every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm. They really mix it up with various styles of music but have consistently booked jazz and jazz related acts throughout the years. This Summer is no different as they have had several performances already from bands like the Dan White Sextet, New Basics Brass Band and The Louies. The Summer concert series continues until the end of August will several other upcoming performances. The best part is that the shows are free to the community! Just bring a blanket or chair and pull up for the evening of live music. The event is also kid-friendly with kids splashing in the water fountains and sparkling in the lights as the evening wears on.
