Smoky standards from a bygone era will anchor a night filled with songs of love, lust, and longing as dynamic songbird Jen Miller graces the stage at the old Garden Theater in the historic Short North. German Village resident, Jen Miller will delight with an enchanting evening filled with torch songs spanning blues, jazz, country, and rock. From the roaring twenties to contemporary favorites, Miller’s stylings will encompass a diverse roster of divas including Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Etta James, Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, Norah Jones, and more. The songstress will be backed by some of Ohio’s finest jazz musicians and will include a surprise guest.

Jen Miller’s bio: Armed with a classical music degree from Capital University, Miller brings fire to any room and light to any soul. Jen studied in college with a number of jazz greats, but it’s the smoky dive bars and jazz clubs where she got her real education. During nearly two decades as a vocalist, Miller has performed at bars, clubs and festivals across the US and Europe and has graced the stage in ports of call both domestic and foreign. Whether backed by her full band or pared down to an intimate duo, Jen Miller is a songstress to be seen and savored like the brightest spring day.
