This Tuesday September 21st, the Park Street Tavern welcomes two great special guests: pianist Hamilton Hardin and Detroit trumpeter Dwight Adams. Pete Mills, Cedric Easton, and Andy Woodson will perform the first set with Hamilton and Dwight at 8:30 – jam session follows. All musicians welcome and there’s never a cover charge.
Dwight Adams has been a jazz trumpet instructor at both Ohio State University and Michigan State University, and has recorded and toured with such well-known artists as: James Carter, Marcus Belgrave, Shawn Wallace, Rodney Whitaker and Stevie Wonder’s band. He is one of the brightest stars in the Detroit jazz scene.
