Seasonal spirit is in full gear this week as Natalie’s features two special holiday jazz shows. First up, the Pete Mills Quartet plays Thursday, December 19th, at 9pm. The quartet will present their usual mix of standards and originals along with an array of classic Christmas compositions. On Saturday, the 21st, at 10pm, the New Basics Brass Band will take their turn around the yule log “with a grand selection of tunes especially selected for the Holidays.” Beyond the additional cheer, this show will be extra special as it will be the NBBB’s first upon the return of Tony Zilincik on sousaphone, making for even more holiday thump.
