Huntertones CD Release Tour Hits Columbus October 10-12

The Brooklyn-based, world-traveling phenomenon known as the Huntertones return home to their Columbus roots for three shows next week. It has already been a busy 2016 for the band. They started the year with a tour of North America, South America, and Africa through the American Music Abroad program. Over the summer, their itinerary took the band to Tbilisi and Tseravki, Georgia, including performing at the One Caucasus Festival. Now back in the states, the band released their new album Live, recorded mostly at Natalie’s in October 2015, on September 30th. Richard Sanford’s review of the album is here. To celebrate, the band is going on a two-week tour through its eastern Midwest stomping grounds. Their first local show is at The Refectory on Monday, October 10th at 6pm – this show will sell out, if it hasn’t already, so click here for more details and call (614) 451-9774 for reservation information. The band returns to Natalie’s for two more nights for “some brand new music as well as some old favorites” on Tuesday, October 11th at 8pm and Wednesday, October 12th at 9pm. These shows are also very likely to sell out, so get your tickets now for Tuesday here and Wednesday here. Welcome back these great musicians as they continue their soulful worldwide journey!
