While this is technically not jazz, we thought our readers would appreciate an amazing Flamenco performance coming this Thursday. International Flamenco Dancer Clara Ramona and Classical Guitarist Danny Voris in Fiery Flamenco Show this Thursday March 11.
JC Entertainment is pleased to announce that classical guitarist Danny Voris will be joining international performer Clara Ramona for her March 11 Flamenco show: “Noche de Flamenco” at Martini Park (Easton). The music and dance maestros will combine their talents to create an experience that will elevate and inspire every soul in attendance.
“Noche de Flamenco” combines the force and intensity of a live flamenco show with the delicate, almost mystical sounds of classical guitar. While the striking poses, rapid stamping of heels and fiery hand-clapping will keep guests on the edges of their seats, the smooth sounds of the guitar will caress their senses in perfect balance. The exquisite evening will take guests on a magical voyage to Spain by combining the beauty of flamenco with a wide variety of Spanish wines and especially crafted Spanish food menu items.

About Clara Ramona:
Without a doubt Clara Ramona is one of the most beautiful and dynamic artists in the world of Spanish dance and flamenco whether as a bailarina, or a bailaora, choreographer, director, producer or teacher. Her rich repertoire includes performances with the Boston Ballet, Ballet Hispanico of New York and many others. She was on the faculty of the Boston Conservatory of Music and Dance and the Walnut Hill School of Performing Arts and led seminars at the Harvard University Dance Program, Boston University School of Fine Arts, Bates College Dance Festival, etc.
About Danny Voris:
Danny Voris is a local guitarist residing in Dayton, Ohio. He holds a bachelor’s degree in classical guitar performance from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and a Master’s degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Akron,Ohio. Danny has played the guitar for over 30 years and performs, composes and teaches through-out the region. He has recorded four CD’s of all original, instrumental music. His latest CD, released in January 2010, “Rolling Like Thunder”, features award winning, Native American Flute Player, Douglas Bluefeather. Danny is currently an instructor at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
