Join Byron Stripling for a day of music making and exploration. The afternoon will kick off with a conversation with Maestro Stripling who will discuss his “Three Keys to Musical Success.” Then pull out your own instrument and explore the 12-bar blues with the 3 B’s of the CJO – Byron Stripling, Bobby Floyd and Bob Breithaupt. All three will share their approach to the blues form, share some music theory, and get everyone playing! After a short dinner break, come back to the Jazz Academy and “jam” with Byron, Bobby and Bob for friends and family.

This special opportunity is available for only 20 individuals and is part of Jazz Arts Group’s celebration of Byron’s 10th anniversary as CJO Artistic Director.
