A new “Jazz and Eggs” jazz series has started here in Columbus at the Canabar on 859 East Long Street. The jazz “brunch” series features the Billboard award winning saxophonist Michael Branch and smooth jazz trumpet man John Hill/aka The Branch Hill Connection. The first “Jazz and Eggs” with Michael Branch began on January 7th and will return this Saturday January 14th from 10am to 2pm. In fact, the Jazz and Eggs series with Michael Branch will be hosted every 1st and 2nd Saturday of the month until further notice.

The Canabar has been providing a friendly atmosphere with great drinks and live entertainment since 1962. The Canabar features live music every week from R&B, blues, funk and jazz. This is the first “Jazz and Eggs” series at the Canabar. Saxophonist Michael Branch is an 11th annual Billboard World song contest winner for his original smooth jazz/R&B song “WHEN U WERE GONE” . This song comes from his 3 song single titled “Groove Me”.
