The guitarist and his pals play Dick’s Oct 13 (Saturday) Expect new directions in fusion, including “modal labyrinths that unfold outward,” sometimes into “sinister places.” “No rattling of cultural loose change, “says Irish Times, instead a “striking balance between improvisation, composition, texture, and color.” They’ll be playing stuff from Harrison’s current CD, Harbor on High Note.
Two guys who are really big on Harrison’s music are well-known hereabouts: Chris Howes and Dan Kelly.
