Matthew Skitzki is a professional pianist based in Cleveland, Ohio. He maintains an active performance schedule throughout the region, and teaches piano in his private studio. He has studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Bowling Green State University with Russ Schmidt, and Cleveland State University with the Grammy Award winning pianist Dr. Angelin Chang and Rock Wehrmann. Matthew is the winner of the 2010 Daniel Rains Concerto Competition, has released his debut CD entitled “Skitzki,” and has been interviewed on WCPN and WCLV. Matthew Skitzki plays regularly in the Columbus Ohio area and most recently with local bass legend, Roger Hines.
