Wade Baker is a nationally touring jazz and blues musician currently based out of Jasper, IN. Coming from humble beginnings in a small southwestern Indiana town, Baker has always had a love for music. Wade (or groups he regularly performs with) have been nominated for 11 of the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards in the last 3 years (Best Blues Act, Best Live Performance, Best Jazz Artist, Best New Record) as well as the 2009 Cincy Groove Magazine’s Artist of the Year.

Wade has received his Bachelor’s Degree B.M. in Jazz Studies (Trumpet) from the University of Indianapolis and his Master’s Degree M.M. in Jazz Studies (Trumpet) from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (Just voted 5th best university in the world to receive a graduate degree in Music). Baker has performed (Either on Trumpet, Guitar, Bass or vox/backup vox) and studied &/or currently perform with such notable and nationally touring acts such as: Blues Acts: Jon Justice, Candye Kane, Sean Carney, JP Soars, Paxton Norris, Biscuit Miller and countless other blues artists…. Jazz Acts: Jeremy Pelt, Pharez Whitted, Dr. Scott Belck, Harry Miedema, Mark Buselli, Art Gore, Rob Dixon, Mike Scharfe, Jim Anderson, Phil DeGreg, Kim Pensyl, Rick VanMatre, Andrew Toombs, Anthony Lee, Jeremy Cunningham, William Brian Hogg, Dan Dorff, Brandon Meeks, Brian Bachelor-Glader, Eddie Brookshire, Randy Villars, Eric Zadan and countless other great Midwestern jazz artists, etc… Country Act: Leroy Parnell.
