The New Basics Brass Band will celebrate the release of the funky and fun kid friendly album “Ditties for Kiddies” on Sunday, June 23rd with two performances (at kid friendly times) at Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza and Live Music. Since 1995, New Basics has been serving up their own brand of sousaphone-powered party music at clubs, festivals and private events. Their latest studio recording is a crowd-funded CD focusing on their youngest fans – kids. The result is a fun, funky collection of old and new favorites called, Ditties For Kiddies. From the slamming shuffle of Rockin’ Robin to the most unique take on You Are My Sunshine you’ve ever heard, everyone within earshot will bop along to these fresh takes.
There are two performances on Sunday, 11am and 1pm. Each set is an hour long and should pack a whole lot of fun into the day.
