Former Columbus Music Hall owner and retired music educator Rebecca Ogden hosts another PBJ & Jazz this Saturday at the Topiary Park in downtown Columbus. Matt and Natalie Adams perform this week. PBJ & Jazz concerts are 1-hour long interactive concerts designed to introduce jazz and American music to young children and their families, featuring some of Columbus’ finest musicians and ensembles. BJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park concerts are free and follow family storytime at 11:00 AM at the Main Library. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket. The noon concert will conclude with a hands-on art activity, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, presented by the Columbus Museum of Art. The Topiary Park is located at 480 E. Town Street in downtown Columbus.
Matt Adams, a graduate of Capital University, is a professional saxophonist with over 20 years of performing experience. Matt plays regularly in Columbus with the New Basics Brass Band and his own Matt Adams Quartet. This performance features Matt along side his wife, Natalie.
