Each Tuesday night at Ruby Tuesday, jazz musicians and non-jazz musicians are invited to a jam session hosted by Evan Oberla. Usually Evan’s band the RFG Quintet is featured and then the night opens up for any and all to join the jam. This week Evan features local band, Chakra, providing some fascinating world-fusion-jazz, drawing on diverse sources such as classical Indian ragas and Mediterranean dance rhythms.
