Want to learn jazz piano? The Columbus Jazz Arts Group provides a number of educational courses and resources for prospective students to learn from some of the best musicians in the city. We are lucky to have a resource like this in our city. Prospective piano and keyboard players can now sign up for fall classes from pianist, Bradley Sowash. Here are the details:

That’s Jazz 1 – Group Piano Lessons

That’s Jazz is a fun and systematic jazz piano method designed to lead traditional piano students through their first experiences with improvisation and creative musical exploration. Instructor Bradley Sowash is the author of the popular and critically acclaimed, That’s Jazz books. If you just want to get into jazz for the first time, play music by ear, learn to improvise, or just want to have fun playing jazz tunes, this is the class for you.

Creative Chords I – Beginning Group Piano Lessons

How would you like to play personal renditions of tunes everyone knows in just a few weeks? Nationally acclaimed music educator Bradley Sowash offers just enough of the basics including keyboard layout, chord construction, and minimal music reading ability to get you quickly playing best-loved songs with both hands.
