Before I get into the first weekend of summer’s bustling outdoor jazz schedule, there is news of an exciting venue opening. Saturday, June 22nd, marks the first day for Streetlight Guild, “the brick and mortar house for Columbus culture,” located at 1367 East Main Street on the Near East Side.
After a successful initial run in 2018, the Bexley Jazz in the Park Series returns this weekend to start its second season of monthly outdoor concerts for the summer. Held at Havenwood Park (2425 Havenwood Dr S in Bexley) on Memorial Day and the fourth Sunday of each month June
As we head toward Labor Day, the Outdoor Jazz schedule is tapering off. Other than a couple weekly/bi-weekly events, the main activity for open air concerts this week is on Sunday, August 26th.
