The Big Room Bar is “a unique live music bar and neighborhood hangout in the Brewery District.” Operated by and sharing space with alternative radio station CD102.5, the bar features regular live music, often of the alternative rock variety, and a variety of other music-related events. The Big Room Bar is currently the home of SwingColumbus‘ weekly Swingin’ Wednesdays swing dance parties. These dance events usually include music provided by local DJs, but on a roughly monthly basis the events feature live swing bands, both touring acts and Columbus groups.
