de-Novo Bistro and Bar ((614) 222-8830) is located at 201 South High Street in downtown Columbus. This location is right across the street from the beautiful downtown park “Columbus Commons”. de-Novo is the creation of the team behind the Vonn Jazz Lounge in Columbus. de-Novo has live entertainment every Thursday night through Sunday night in the entrance of the location. Look for various duos, trios and solo performances from some of the best local musicians and many jazz musicians in Columbus. This is a perfect backdrop for live jazz in this beautifully restored space in the heart of downtown Columbus.
From ColumbusUnderground: The kitchen at de-NOVO will be run by Executive Chef Robert Harrison who recently served as Executive Chef at The Short Story in Granville, which closed several weeks ago.
An expansive sample menu posted on Facebook reveals a variety of artisan crepes, creme brulee french toast and smoke salmon for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch that include Báhn Mi and Kobe Chorizo burgers, and dinner entrees such as sea scallops, duck breast and North Market pasta linguine.

What is your phone nunber. I use to travel from MD. to Columbus for some of the shows at Vonn Jazz Club, Kelly Price, Mint Condition, etc. Will you still be having shows like this? If so do you have a schedule yet?

I hope this is a better venture than the last attempt of Vonn Jazz. The survice there was terrible, the food was cold, the wine was nice to look at but when you order they either were out or ” that was the last bottle”. When we ask for the manager/ owner she said she was unavailable. In all reality the owner was in the kitchen helping the cook how could not keep up. I look forward to trying the food here and wish this venture best of luck!
