The Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center of Worthington is a non-profit contemporary arts center that brings people together through experiences that spark learning and encourage creative conversation. Housed in the newly renovated but historical Worthington High School, the MAC produces and presents a variety of more than 80 professional performances in the 213 seat theatre and 8-12 art exhibitions annually, provides quality instruction in dance and art, presents artist lectures, literary presentations, film and cultural discussions in one of northern Franklin County’s leading suburbs. Visitors can explore the ever changing art in the 20,000 square foot facility free from admission six days a week.
The Arts Center provides a number of live music performances throughout the year and has supported live jazz here many times with the likes of Dick Mackey, Tony Hagood, Rachel Sepulveda, Jim Rupp, Christian Howes & more..
