A great “newer” band (2012) has arrived on the scene here in Columbus with some great talent, songwriting and musicianship behind them. Wake Fold plays a mix of originals, some jazz standards and their take on modern pop music. With new arrangements of top 40 hits, jazz standards, original compositions, and the know-how that comes with a conservatory degree, they are a group of young musicians with new, young ideas. Wake fold is a group that takes pride in their innovative music that is accessible to all while blurring the lines of genres. Their first full-length album, “A New Christmas”, was released in December of 2012 and they continue to work on new music and perfecting their live shows.
