After a year of the new administration in Washington it is clear our fears were not unfounded. Civil liberties, the environment, science, the arts, the working class, the middle class, economic rights, and so many other basic aspects of our society and culture are under sustained attack.

In response, The Kate Schulte Foundation presents The Columbus Liberation Music Orchestra in a benefit concert for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and the Columbus Mennonite Church Sanctuary Fund (which currently houses refugee Edith Espinal). The organizations for which we are raising money are on the forefront of the resistance to these attacks and injustices. ART 4 JUSTICE!!!

The Columbus Liberation Music Orchestra is The JazzPoetry Ensemble (Michael Vander Does, Roger Hines, Roger Myers, Brett Burleson, Laura Kolb) with special guests The Governor (Greg Pearson), Debra James Tucker, Tia Harris, Randy Mather, Eddie Bayard, Wahru Cleveland, and more.
