Columbus’ favorite New Orleans-inspired brass band, the New Basics Brass Band, will be working on writing, recording and distributing an exciting new project this winter focused on their youngest fans… KIDS! The finished CD will contain NBBB’s brand of funky, jazzy takes on favorites you know along with some choice originals. They will be releasing the record this Spring.
If you are a fan of the band or just a fan of jazz in general, the guys can use your help. The NBBB is reaching out to you for help with making this project a reality. The guys have launched a campaign through Kickstarter.com that will enable you to pledge your support and help them fund recording and CD production. In exchange for your pledge and donation the band will have an array of REWARDS for you.
If you would like to help the New Basics Brass Band in backing this project and making it a reality, they are asking for THREE things:

2.) Make a pledge at whatever you level feel comfortable. No donation is too big or too small, but the project WILL NOT be funded unless our ENTIRE goal is met.
